Email digest

Repave sends everyone in a project one short email a day: what is waiting on them, and what moved in their projects since the last one. It is on for everyone by default, and arrives at 08:00 in your own time zone. Repave never sends an empty digest: on a day when nothing is waiting on you and nothing moved, you get nothing.

The digest needs email to be set up on your installation; see Admin portal.

What it says

The digest leads with what needs you, then what happened. A section with nothing in it is left out.

  • Waiting on you — everything that will not move until you act, oldest first, with how long it has waited and an Open link to the exact place to answer it. Work an agent has stopped on comes first: a question it asked during a run, an approval it needs, the questions before an implementation starts, and architecture questions. Then reviews: a feature waiting for your acceptance testing, a pull request ready to merge, proposed scenario changes, verification questions, and journey test runs to review.

An item is for the person who started the run and the feature's owner. When there is neither, it is for everyone who can edit the project. Viewers never get this section.

  • Waiting on teammates — anything in your projects that has waited more than two days for someone else, and who it is waiting for.

  • What moved — each feature whose status changed, and the path it took (for example In Progress → In Review → Merged, with the pull request), plus decisions recorded in the project.

  • Gone quiet — features that have been in progress for a week with no activity, said once a week, and features that failed.

  • Organization — for administrators only: one row per project on the installation, including projects you are not a member of. Each row shows features shipped, items waiting and who they wait on, agent spend, and how long the oldest item has waited. Projects with the oldest unanswered item come first. It names projects and people, never what was asked.

Changing it

Open the account menu (the person icon at the top right) and choose Email digest, or follow Change how often at the bottom of any digest. Every change saves as you make it.

Setting
How oftenDaily, Weekdays, Weekly, on Mondays, Only when something is waiting on me, or Off. "Only when something is waiting on me" is checked daily, and sent only on days when something is.
Delivery timeThe hour it arrives, and your time zone. Until you pick a zone, Repave uses your browser's.
ProjectsTurn off a project to leave it out of your digest.
OrganizationAdministrators only: whether to include the row-per-project section.

Send me one now sends you the digest you would get next, straight away, so you can see it before deciding. It does not change when the next one arrives or what it covers.

Unsubscribing

Every digest ends with Unsubscribe, and each project in it has Mute this project. Both work without signing in. The page they open asks first: choose Unsubscribe (or Mute project) to confirm, since email security scanners open links in emails on their own. Then Undo puts things back as they were, including how often the digest came. Mail apps that show their own unsubscribe button, such as Gmail and Outlook, turn the digest off in one click.

If Repave was not running at your delivery time, the digest is sent when it starts again, as long as that is within 12 hours. After that, the next digest covers the missed one. A digest never reaches back more than a week, so turning it back on after a long break starts with the last week.
